Pedro Almodovar’s latest film once again reunites the director with his muse Penelope Cruz. Broken Embraces is a film noir of sorts that centres on a blind screenwriter, Harry Caine (Llu’s Homar), who used to be a director known as Mateo Blanco until a road accident caused him to lose his sight.
