This Websites are a service provided to teachers and other professionals involved in education in the United Kingdom. The contents and related services are intended solely for use in an educational context and should not be regarded as ‘entertainment’ or ‘information’ outside these parameters. Use for self-study by pupils and students is considered appropriate provided this is under a supervised programme of study offered by an official educational establishment (or similar body) in the UK.

It is the intent of this policy to avoid the possibility of future misunderstandings when projects developed by or on behalf of The Film Space might seem to others to be similar to their own creative ideas or materials. Pedagogy
The Film Space’s approach to learning about film is that when its properly used in the classroom, film is a powerful educational tool which, can engage and enrich children and young people’s learning and lives.
Our aim is to provide teachers with the resources and the expertise to introduce film into their teaching, be it History, Media Studies or Citizenship. Through resources on individual films as well as more generic resources, we aim to give teachers high quality, curriculum linked teaching materials which can be used within the technological possibilities of the classroom of the 21st century. Whether this be through web pages, downloadable content and online interactive resources and apps, feedback from teachers suggests that we have got the approach and the content exactly right. The teachers who use our materials can rely on a solid educational experience.
